In this video I am speaking to a young Muslim who was a part of a group that was having a loud discussion with some Muslims about idolatry, with one of the Christians mentioning that Muhammad did go around the Kaaba while there were still idols in it. To show that this was the case, I looked up some hadiths that were related to this subject and showed them to the young Muslim, just to show that there are Christians mentioning who have done their research into the paganism of Muhammad. He seemed to he a bit surprised when I showed them to him and I have to give him the fact that he did not try to say that the hadiths are false, like a lot of the fake Muslims like to do. He did try to justify what Muhammad was doing, by saying that he was doing it to show his strength to the pagans, but this still did not excuse the fact that Muhammad was going around the Kaaba, without first making sure that there were no idols in it.
I then explained to him that our God does not allow us to do anything like the pagans and this makes sense to me, because this means that people will not be confused about which God it is that we follow, because they can see the originality of the customs that we follow. To me this is a sensible way for a God to tell his people to behave, because this helps to reduce the amount of confusion that there is in the world, about which God it is that particular people are following.
